The Thiess Spaghetti Bridge Competition
is back in 2014.
The competition is a fun and challenging opportunity for students to test their engineering skills and experience the planning, problem solving and team work required for a career in engineering.
The competitors are challenged to build the strongest bridge weighing no more than 300gm (including a 70gm loading plate) constructed with only spaghetti and glue to span at least 35cm.
Save the Date
We’ll test all of the competitors’ spaghetti bridges at the Brisbane Ekka from Friday 8 – Sunday 17 August.
