The Thiess Spaghetti Bridge Competition
is back in 2014!

The competition is a fun and challenging opportunity for students to test their engineering skills and experience the planning, problem solving and team work required for a career in engineering.

The competitors are challenged to build the strongest bridge weighing no more than 300gm (including a 70gm loading plate) constructed with only spaghetti and glue to span at least 35cm.

Save the Date

We’ll test all of the competitors’ spaghetti bridges during Engineering Week from Monday 4 - Friday 8 August.
